Before joining Rothschild, was founding partner of Económica Consultores, an economic consultancy. Rafael was Economic Secretary of the Presidency under President Gaviria. He was an advisor to the Head of the National Planning Department and Advisor of the Fiscal Policy Council at the Ministry of Finance.
Rafael Rivas is candidate to the PhD in Political Economy and Government from Harvard University, has an MSc in Economics from Queen Mary College (University of London) and a BA in Economics from Williams College.
Rafael is an occasional op-ed contributor to various publications, and co-author of Las Piezas del Rompecabezas.
Rafael is or has been a member of the Board of Directors of Bavaria, Publicaciones Semana, Biomax, Corporación Financiera Colombiana, Agrícola El Cactus, Avefarma, Caja de Crédito Agrario, FINDETER, Ciudad Salitre, SOFASA and Finca. As Economic Secretary of the Presidency, he was a non-voting member of the Board of the Central Bank. He was also a member of the National Tariff Board. He has taught at Universidad de los Andes. Rafael is currently a member of the Editorial Board of Revista Dinero.

Alfredo Uribe is an Economist from la Universidad Carlos III de Madrid with more that 15 years of experience in investment banking.
Recently, he was invited to participate in the transition commission of the Infrastructure Ministry for the current Colombian Government of President Ivan Duque, where he collaborated receiving the Ministry and designing the govenrment plan for 2018-2022. Previously, he was a Vice President at Bancapital form 2015 to 2018.
Before that, Alfredo was responsable for the Investment Banking división of Ultrabursatles Borkerage House and, at the beginning of his career, he was an Investment Banking manager at Ágora for 5 years, where he executed mandates including M&A, Project Finance, valuations, privatizations and capital raisings.
Recently Alfredo advised Grupo Ethus in the LBO of Compañía Petroeléctrica de los Llanos (EV USD 56 million / Debt USD 52 million); Infrared Capital Partners in the acquisition of 50% of the shares of Concesión Ruta al Mar (USD 100 millones); in the sale of 100% of the shares of Concesión Santa Marta Paraguachón to Ashmore advising Odinsa and Valorcon as Sellers (EV USD 53 million); and, in the acquisition of Pacific Power Generation (EV USD 220 millones), between others.

Boris is a Business Administrator from EAFIT University with a Post degree in Finance at the same university.
Previously, Boris worked as a Senior Associate of the execution area at Bancapital. In this position, Boris participated in diverse successful processes of M&A, Project Finance and valuations mainly in the sectors of Infrastructure (toll roads and airports PPP), Energy (generation and transmission), Waste Management and Technology.
As a senior investment banking associate, Boris participated in the advisory on the debt re-profiling of Termomorichal S.A.S. (a private thermoelectrical plant structured exclusively for the supply of energy to the Rubiales Field), the presentation of the bid in the public tender process of the fleet renewal of Transmilenio. (District public transport system) and its operation and maintenance for the qualified proponent GPS Chile, the financial review of various Toll Road Projects under the 4G program launched by the Colombian Government for John Laing Investments Limited (Private Equity Fund) and the buyout process of the 50% of the Ruta al Mar Concession, a Private Initiative Toll Road Project developed by Construcciones El Condor S.A. in Colombia, for Infrared Capital Partners-Fund V.
